Beartooth West Palm Beach Concert reviews
Solid Performance Overall
In my opinion, Beartooth was really good both times I've seen them in concert. They have been playing essentially the same group of older songs for years, which received a lot of complaints when I posted the setlist on another thread. The new album, I must say, I enjoy. Great stage presence, I think they were. Very strong performances of the new songs. Other great highlights of the set were She Sells Sanctuary and Love Removal Machine.
My favorite album of theirs is Sonic Temple, so my major complaint was the lack of songs from it. The one song they did perform from it, Fire Woman, felt a bit "phoned in". Ian seemed to either forget or simply just not sing half the words in the verses, and he really didn't belt out the chorus the way he used to. Overall though, a very good performance. My wife and I danced up a storm.
